my 1 year old went to bed without supper

He has been spending more time with mil the past few weeks while I am back at work and she has been giving him hot dogs and cheese puffs and other crap even though we have had it out about it a hundred times. He loves fruits and veggies but has gotten a taste for junk now. I gave him his dinner and he refused to eat his broccoli so I took his plate away and just left the broccoli. He screamed for an hour then fell asleep so now he is in bed. And he can have broccoli for breakfast when he gets up. And not go to stupid mil's any more.

You are nuts.  He is too young to understand that.

He is entirely too young to understand that, and you're a bitch.

I wouldn't let mil have him anymore, that's gross. I would have offered other healthy food though.

Um, maybe he just didn't want broccoli today. Some days I do not feel like eating certain things that I sometimes enjoy eating. Besides my son is allergic to broccoli, its not that big of a deal...

He is just a baby. Don't do that to him.
