Kids need to be kids! This is horrible and sad to me.

I came across this on Pinterest. Why on earth would anyone let their daughter do this to themselves? These kids need to be kids! I think one day they will regret rushing through the carefree days of childhood.
I can see a girl in 7th grade experimenting with some makeup but not nearly this much. Also, the clothes their wearing? I would not wear them let alone let my dd wear them at all before she's 18. (Which hopefully she will have sense enough to dress decent) Trashy, trashy, trashy. Smh.

The girl on the left isn't too bad, she just needs to lose the duck face!

My girls will not be getting make-up until freshman year of high school.

Right now the only thing my 10 year old gets is tinted chapstick.

Posting a pic of chola girls is not an accurate depiction of 7th graders today.

It's the times we're living in. Kids are getting more and more mentally immature but more physically mature. Growing up too fast and they have no idea.

Trust me I worked in a middle school. Most girls in 7th grade look like the first picture.
Also back in the day you were thought of as a slut for showing your ankle. Societies change. Every generation gets outraged at the amount if skin the next generation is showing.

This is a little dramatic for the description of all 7th graders or even most but there are some like this, the basic idea is that times have changed so much and kids are growing up too fast

Eh, I'm 38 and grew up in a suburb in Minnesota. I knew plenty of girls like the ones in the bottom pic.

The whole things are going to hell in a handbasket is crap. People have been saying it for eons.
