I was on Longhorns steak house facebook and someone posted this

Due to the Stand Your Ground Laws in the state which your corporate office subsides I can no longer patronize your establishment until that law is abolished in the state of Florida

WTF does longhorn have to do with the stand your ground law?

RME why does anyone have a problem with that law UNLESS they have a tendency to cause problems ( assaulting others - stealing etc. ) and fear it will be used on them?

They are trying to blackmail businesses into complaing to their state reps to change laws. Won't work.

Not really the same. The chic-fil-a boycott was because they were against gay marriage and proudly gave money to anti-gay causes.

This seems like someone is attempting to boycott Longhorn because they happen to be in a state that has a law. Do we know if they have anything at all to do with the stand your ground law?
