Book Suggestions for a Picky Reader!

I'm a super picky reader. I don't like love stories, mysteries or horror. Not a big fan of detective or medical crap.

I do however like the paranormal field. I need suggestions.

Here are some of the books I've read and loved:

Harry Potter Series
Percy Jackson Series
Hunger Games Series
Twilight Series
Women of the Underworld Series (Kelley Armstrong)
Blue is for Nightmares Series (Laurie Faria Stolarz)
Touched Series (Laurie Faria Stolarz)
Darkest Powers Series (Kelley Armstrong)
Darkest Raising Series (Kelley Armstrong)
Bloodlines Series (Richelle Mead)
CIRQUE DU FREAK Series  (Darren Shan)
Hex Hall (Rachel Hawkins)

I've read a bunch of John Saul, Knootz, King and tons of randoms. But I'm more so interested in parormal including witches, vampires, werewolves (a favorite) fey, other 'creatures', voodoo creatures, mythological stuff, greek mythology. Stuff like that. I do like other topics but not really into them right now. I got on this kick and not quite done with it yet. Help me out?

Currently reading The Mortal Instruments (first 2 not great 3rd i liked! Waiting for the 4th and 5th to be available)

Need more suggestions of really good reads! Help me out.

If your going to bash about my book choices. Bug off. I really don't care.

Have you read His Dark Materials? I enjoyed that series.

Goodreads.com is a good site to get recommendations.

Using that site. For some reason it only gives me recommendations off of one of the books I've ever read. Not all of them. Its super annoying.

Laurell K Hamilton - Anita Blake, Vampire Executioner series. Mainly the early ones because somewhere around book 8 or so it degrades into practically nothing but erotica.

I'm a little confused though. If you don't like love stories, how can you love Twilight?

Try the Clockwork Angel series by the same author from The Mortal Instruaments. I think they're better than the Mortal Instrument books.

I just got done with Divergent and Insurgent - LOVED them.

However, I do not handle super cheesy love stories well. I *hated* Twilight, Bella made me want to stab myself in the eyes due to her extreme stupidity.

Right? That's pretty much all it was, and a poorly written one, at that.
