Alright ladies....I'm here for general discussion. I'm seeing some crazy baby name advices on here and choices. All the weird spellings and made up names have got me thinking.....do you think it's your social class that limits your name choices? Educational background? Demographic? Ethnicity?

This is for general discussion and I'm not judging. I'm genuinly interested to hear everyone's opinion.

My son's are named Jake and Luke. I'm in a upper class salary tax category, college educated, from the South, and white.

No nasty talk gals;) General discussion.

There might be some correlation. Nothing amazingly substantial though. In the general sense, a poor mom may name her daughter Shaniqua while a better mom may choose Serenity. I think these cases are between extremely different social classes.

I don't think any of what you mentioned has anything to do with the fact that if you want to name your child let's say, Britney but spell it...

Bryttaknee.  You're just a damn fool.  The end.
