I'm only going to buy my kids name brand things, and make sure that they know that that is what important. Definitely not the children in need, I will teach that doesn't matter and it's okay to not want to help. I'll teach them to be selfish and spend double the money on the brand items instead of picking a few cheaper items so that they can help others with some supplies. I will also make sure that they know that if someone takes one of their precious name brand items, that I, the adult parent, will come and "take care" of that child, making sure to scare them. Because nobody touches my child's name brand supplies, it's not my fault other families can't afford things. Let's start this school year off by teaching my kids the most important lessons, ya know, how to be selfish, materialistic, people.

GOT IT??????

SO RIDICULOUS.

We don't put much emphasis on labels....or lack thereof.

If my daughter liked something from say, Coach, I would buy it for her because she liked it, not because it had a Coach label and I can afford it.

Same goes if she finds something she likes at Wal-Mart.

She gives her best friend her old clothes all the time because her parents can't afford new clothing and she shares my daughter's taste in fashion.

That's nice. Ever think that maybe people can only afford to provide THEIR children?
