When you see an extremely obese woman (like 400 lbs) and she has 3 young kids, all under 10, headed on the same path? I saw this woman and her 3 kids at Dunkin Donuts today, when I stopped in for an iced coffee. They were sitting there devouring a dozen donuts. It just made me sad for the kids, they will struggle with obesity their whole lives now because their mother never taught them about a balanced diet.

It doesn't even have to be that extreme to make me sad.

Yes extremely because she probably complains about her weight and she's leading her kids right into the same life :(

The 2 girls, had be like 8 and 6, were each about 150-180 lbs. It was horrible. The boy, looked to be about 4, was only slightly pudgy. It just turned my stomach. I have grown sons that don't weigh as much as those girls.

I know some neighborhoods where these would be a top selling item, of course I drive through them with my windows up and my doors locked!

My sister's family is like that... It does make me sad. The oldest worked out after Hs and at 23 is very fit and very attractive! The younger two (17 g, 13 b) are going down the obese path. her husband is easily 400 lbs, and my sister has to be 300 at 5'2". now at only 50 she is looking at needing a hip replacement because of arthritis and I'm sure the extra weight. Very sad. :(
