Blue lagoon is a great pick.

Quoting oOoLeilanioOo:

I have 3 and they are equal. The Blue Lagoon, Labyrinth, The secret Garden. Basically I like movies older than I am (minus The Secret Garden).  =)

There are way too many movies that I love to narrow it down to just one. But one of my top 5 is Anne of Green Gables.

I love Hotel Transylvania and Rio lol.  Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was cute too.  I didn't mind ds obsession with Cars when he was little because I loved it too!  I think we watched that everyday for a year

they are all great. Whedon's much ado is still in theatres.

I need to watch more movies!! I haven't seen most of these

Quoting autodidact:

too many to pic a single one. some favorites:

Harold and Maude - quirky classic love story and a feel good movie

Much Ado about Nothing (both the Branaugh and Whedon editions) - both are sexy and make shakespeare accessable.

Serenity - sci/fi western with great characters and snarky dialog

Cabin in the Woods - horror movie to end all horror movies, and funny, too.

Avengers - big budget superhero flick with more Whedon wit

The Tall Guy - sleeper HYSTERICAL romcom with Emma Thompson and Jeff Goldblum

Velvet Goldmine - Citizen Kane meets glam rock in the 70's. not for homophobes, but if you like pretty men in pretty clothes, this one has Ewan McGregor and Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Rocky Horror - sexy fun cult classic, much more fun in person, bring toast and rice.

Bound - sexy twisty noir about who will get the mob money

Clue - fun murder mystery with a great cast: Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan

Trainspotting - hard to watch movie about scottish herion addicts, but a brilliant film

Inglourious Basterds - Tarantino gloriously killing off Nazis, another feel good flick : )

Boondock Saints - sexy Irish boys playing vigilante. funny, violent, and full of swearing.

Willy Wonka - Gene Wilder is both sweet and creepy in this.

Stop Making Sense - BRILLIANT concert film of the Talking Heads. fantastic music and innovative lighting design.
