I found out I was pregnant at the beginning of my fifth month. I work a third shift job, so when I wasn't working I was pretty much just sleeping all day, so I hadn't noticed a missed period. Didn't have morning sickness at all either. So when I noticed my belly getting bigger, that's when I took a pregnancy test. When it came out positive, I thought we were doomed. I was 25 at the time (I'm now 26) and had ZERO experience with babies. I think I had only held one once or twice. So. I went to an abortion clinic. They gave me an ultrasound and the woman there told me I was too far along to have one. Called my boyfriend and told him what they had said. He said maybe we should consider adoption. After a few days of thinking about it, we decided to keep the baby. And I'm SO GLAD we did. She's the best thing that EVER happened to us. Now I can't imagine living without her. She definitely gives our lives more purpose.
