You can still SAH. Just work opposite shifts.I get that child care can be expensive and you may not have child care assistance in your area. But you can figure out a way for both of you to provide or at least do all you can to provide for your OWN family and work towards building a future rather than just making it on welfare. Even if its just part time.

my dh works 9pm-7am. it takes an hour for him to get to work *well 45 minutes* he has to work on call whenever they tell him to and he cant say no

That's us. Dh works swing shifts.

DH and I did for 15 years until my dd started high school and could watch her lil sis. It is possible, does it suck, you bet your ass! But we did it with no daycare or PA. We have just started to have days off together after 15 years!!

i was a single mom for 11 years. I made it. I worked in a plastic factory full time until I found my job. I used a temp agency. If you look hard enough the jobs are out there!

we tried, and it didnt work bc at my job i had to be open! but i wasnt on PA so i dont think that even matters lol
