Today was my 35 weeks appointment. I know the weights r usually off. Well they are estimating my lil man to be 6 pounds 7 ounces right now. So my question is... was the estimate over or under actual birth weight? By how much?

I didn't get a late us done but I know they can be off by as much as 2 lbs, plus baby's growth slows in the last few weeks.

At my last ultrasound for my first child, my dr. estimated 7 lbs 8 oz. She was born 2 days later. 7 lbs, 11 oz. Similar story with my 2nd child. He said 7 lbs 11 oz, she was born the next day at 7 lbs 14 oz.

I was 36 weeks when I had my ultrasound and they said he was 5lbs 7oz .. I had him at 38wks and he was 6lbs 3oz.  So, it was pretty accurate.

A pound over, for my oldest. They said he would be around 9lbs 10oz, he was 8lbs 8oz.

He was the only one they gave me an estimate for. They can be off by as much as 2-3lbs in the 3rd trimester.

I had an ultrasound in L&D hours before my c-section. They estimated 3.5 lbs, a half-pound off.

Only had one with my second. The said she would be 9-10lbs. She was 6 lbs 3 oz. My midwives with my first and third were right in what they said. They only went by feel. Lime my first she said I guess around 6 - 7 lbs. She was 6 lbs 10 oz. My third she said she guess around 8 - 9 lbs and she was 8 lbs 14 oz
