Mean Mommy Confession.

Here is my confession for the day....

When I sweep the hard floors if there are any small toys (like Matchbox cars, pokemon cards, tiny action figures, legos, etc) on the floor or whatever other kind of small toy that my kids already have a MILLION of, I sweep them up and throw them away with the dirt in the dust pan.

The way I look at it... if they really cared about it, they would have picked it up before I swept (I do warn them when I'm about to sweep) and it's a good way to slowly get rid of extra, un-needed toys and junk. lol

Many a Lego has met their demise that way in my house!

I use to do it to when my boys where younger. Don't feel bad. If they cared they would take better care of their things.

I've done it for years. They have yet to notice.

Yep, this is how I keep the Lego population  controlled!  Those things breed like rats.
