Menstrual cup? If you do, what brand? How does it compare to tampons/pads? Any issues? Was it hard to use the first time?

Menstrual cup?  Yes
If you do, what brand? Diva Cup
How does it compare to tampons/pads? Tampons gave me horrible cramps and my periods where so heavy that I had to wear HUGE pads. It was like wearing a diaper. Most of the time now I forget I have my period at all.
Any issues? non
Was it hard to use the first time? Not hard but it took me a while to really know when I had it in right.

I used the Diva Cup when I had periods. LOVE it.

The first time was interesting to say the least, but after a couple of tries it was pretty easy to place, remove, and clean.

Compared to a tampon or a pad - it is a million times better.

Thanks:) really thinking of doing this. So sick of always buying tampons/pads! I've read good things but wanted some other opinions.

is it hard to walk around or be active?  any danger of it falling out of place?

And is it easy to remove? Is it messy?

I couldn't feel it! Never fell out, I worked out with it in.

How often did you have to empty it? Is it hard to remove? Is it just wash and go or does it have to be sanitized or something?

Have a Diva Cup I use in a pinch. Its big. I can feel it because its too big. I can't pee with it in and it makes my cramps worse. I'm not a fan.
