These 11 States now have More People on Welfare than they do Employed!

Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support. What's the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000,which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $20.00 an hour.

My grand ol' state is on the list. I hate it here. I'm surprised there aren't a few more states on that list though. But yeah, this is only going to get worse. This is how the government wants it to be.

And with the slipping morals, more and more people are going to be OK with quitting their tough jobs to suck the government's teet.  There used to be a time where it wasn't the paycheck ALONE that kept people working, it was pride, dignity, and a sense of self respect.

I know quite a few people on PA and I hate to beat the dead horse, but if you truly need it and it's only temporary, I don't see an issue.

Maine has as many tax payers as welfare recipients. THANK YOU, JOHN BALDACCI, you piece of CRAP. Someone tell me, how the hell a tourist based industry is going to survive as many welfare moochers as tax payers? We aren't. Especially with a government refuses to cut spending. We. Are. Screwed.
