I was making inventory of my kids school clothes/supplies (making a list of what I still need to get when I go out) and I asked my dd11 to let me see her trapper keeper.....

she looks at me and asks "What's a trapper keeper?" 

sigh. 

I forgot it was a "90's" thing, god forbid I say something about a kaboodle. does your child say/do anything that reminds you that you're getting old? oh yeah, and she refers to the 90's as "the olden days"

mine was sweet it was purple with bright pink paint splashes and that crazy texture outside.

i filled it with hello kitty and lisa frank folders. it was fucking awesome.

But it IIIIS a trapper keeper, damnit. SS has one. I don't care what the package says. It's a trapper keeper. And the sooner he accepts that, the easier it will be, because I will never call it anything else. Ever. He can't make me. Haha

LOL.  Give it another 20 years and then talk to me.  90s phhhht.  I had my own kids in the late 80s and early 90s.
