Her attitude I'd just outrageous lately. I mean my perfect sweet , get compliments on her 9yr old is gone!

She has been lying, sneaking and deceiving lately. She tells people we don't love her that we never buy her anything, we font take care of her. She had the audacity to complain about the size of her new flat screen at her birthday!

Oh I'm do ashamed to admit that.... I never thought my child, the child I've worked for 9 yrs to raise would act that way

So we punished her today. We took it all away. :(

She isn't allowed to have any electronics or go anywhere.

Are we being to harsh?

A flat screen for a 9yo? I don't think that's enough for a punishment.

Sounds like an appropriate punishment to me, with that attitude and dishonesty.

why in the fuck did you buy her a flat screen in the first place? Kids always say that stuff, they don't mean it.

well she had a tiny little princess tv. The one with the crown. So her gift from us was a new tv, it was either something that would last her svl yrs or something that would need an upgrade.

My husband is a last svl yrs type of man

Nope. If she's not grateful for all that she's been given, take it back.

No..electronics are not a necessity. I take them away from my dd when she needs to lose her attitude.

Let me re post what I just re posted well she had a tiny little princess tv. The one with the crown. So her gift from us was a new tv, it was either something that would last her svl yrs or something that would need an upgrade.

She really had outgrown the princess tv she had as a toddler in all fairness

This is how we felt. We were so stunned. We have always taught her to be thankful for anything she received. And to hear her be so unthankful so nasty, it hurt. I was so embarrassed. Oh man. I was in front of other parents and I just wanted to make her eat soap!
