Our almost 3 year old still sleeps with us.
She was an awesome crib sleeper and did well in her toddler bed.
My dh works nights and about when she turned 2 she started(I allowed) to lay in bed with me and watch movies. So she'd fall asleep and I'd leave her.
I'm ready for her to be done.
What would be the easiest way to give her the boot?

She has a heart issue(3holes plus tach) so just letting her cry is NOT an option.

1 mom liked this
Uhm put her ass in her own bed. Simple.

If she can talk piss shit then she can understand you have to sleep in your own bed. End of story

Just do it. It wont be easy and she will hate it. Better sooner than later.

What a way to talk about a child.

Put her in her bed to go to sleep and if she gets out and comes to your bed put her back. It'll take about a few weeks I'm sure, but it will get easier and she will eventually get the idea and stop coming to your bed. I only did the co-sleeping when my kids were sick and that was hard enough to break, I can't imagine how difficult this will be for you. Good luck!

There is a toddler bed and a day bed in there.
