Sad post, have you lost a child?

I do not want to talk specifics but I lost my 2 month old in 2006. Has anyone else ever dealt with the loss of their child after birth? It has been now 7 years and I can't move on.

I use those words because I have friends who have had miscarriages and I feel they do not understand to the fullest what I have been through. And some of my friends tell me to just look at it like a miscarriage and get over it, since she was not in our lives very long.

I haven't experienced that heartbreak, but here's a bump for you!

After rading your reply in your own post I agree with you, having a miscarriage isnt nearly the same as losing a child at birth or after birth. Im very sorry for your loss and so sorry you are struggling. I know it must be hard I dream about it,. Its horrifying.

I lost my three year old in 2011. I haven't gone to therapy yet. Some days I'm ok and I can shoulder it. Other days its still very fresh. Have u sought help?

I keep telling myself that I will and I can't do it.

I haven't but I lost my son when I was almost 19 weeks pregnant with him.I can only imagine how magnified that pain is when you've held that child in your arms. How heartless of your friends! I'm so sorry for your loss :(

I lost my daughter at 13 months. She was very sick her whole life.

Losing a child isn't something you ever "get over". You simply learn how to live with it.

I was never able to get anything from it. I tried here and there in the beginning. I am sorry for your loss.

Yes. I lost my Daughter, Isabel, when she was 3 and a half months old.
