Can you tell if you're ovulating based on discharge?

Yes I can and the pains I get on either side or both sides.

 Yes, I also have a little pain on which ever side it comes from that month and get crazy honry for a couple days.

I definitely can.  In fact had this discussion with my gynocologist and the ultrasound technician a few months ago. It is clear, very lubricating and has absolutely no smell.  Happens every single month.

me too.. crazy right -- it's just like your body biologically is saying "make a baby, make a baby" lol

Yes, I don't normally have any discharge at all, but mid cycle, I have a creamy white discharge that my doc says is ovulation discharge.

Yep.  The u/s tech said its a perfect way to know when to try to conceive..she said for women who are trying to conceive it's a blessing.  I'm not trying, but it's still a blessing - it tells us to be extra careful :)
