And have NO desire of getting off because you like free shit?
Or hell, who's on PA and don't need it, or lied to get it?

Post anon if you please.

I just want to see if the MC stereotype is correct.

The problem is that people who are bad with money or who feel life's luxuries are true necessities. So while they may feel they need a iPhone 5, there hair and nails did, and cigarettes that does not constitute needs.  So who know if people really need it. Need is subjective.

so you lied to get PA? awesome

Quoting Anonymous:

I work 20 hours a week on the books and the rest off the books so I can keep getting SNAP.  I guess I am one of the alleged "bad apples" contributing to the stereotype.  So are many of my neighbors.  I don't think the stereotypes are too far from the truth.

1 mom liked this

I'm on it and hate it. I'm working more hours right now at my job though because they have overtime available. I'm also try to move my way up to possibly a supervisor job or above so I can earn enough to get off of it. I don't like receiving help. I like doing things on my own. Hopefully one day I can be fully independent.

Other? My daughter is on Medicaid because I cant afford insurance. For some reason they signed me up for it when I applied for her, but after calling several people to get off it, they told me I have to go to court to do so. Fuck that. Ill just let it expire.

Yes, I do.  It is scummy, and I admit to it.  I could probably make ends meet now, but I'm waiting to build more of a cash cushion before I put my job fully on the books and come off PA.
