Tricky unemployment question

My husband works for the IBEW union and was laid off. We live in Arkansas. He filed for unemployment. The local companies he worked for are listed in his history but one company, based in Texas, isn't showing.

Does he file for benefits in Texas since he was being paid by that company but working here in Arkansas?

No. He files in his own state. They'll figure it out.

He would file in the state that he worked in, unless he travels for work. In that case he would file in the state that he is based out of.

Okay and he already has but why is the company in Texas not showing up?

It doesn't work quite like that.
