I'm a SAHM and it sucks

I never wanted to be a SAHM. But it happened.

Jealously is not a trait that I possess, but certainly would rather be working.

That said, I appreciate all that ANY mother does.

I wish that the whole SAHM vs WM debate would cease.

We are all mothers, we all take care of our children the best we can.
Let it go.

why cant you work?
I have done both. Working is easier but staying home is more important for the kids IMO. So I stay home!

I'm ill.
But yes, working to me, seems easier.
But honestly, you can't win

I'm sorry, the first 2 yrs were good but 3rd year, I was ready to go back to work. I enjoy commuting, getting out and being around other adults. I really do. I was a SAHM, I will never be one again. It just wasn't for me.

I don't think it sucks. I mean, it's not all roses and I do struggle with it. That being said, it's what I chose to do. IDK, I'm also not one of those sit in your PJ's all day SAHM's. That would depress me. I kind of feel like I'm living a life of leisure. I can see how it would suck if someone had no resources or money though.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think anything would suck if you don't have your health. ((hugs))

I have been both. I think staying home was easier for me personally because I got to rest, clean, and watch TV or exercise while my kids napped. However I also love my job and enjoy working very much, even though it isn't always easy. My house isn't always spotless like it was when I stayed home but I do my best and my hubby does help out too so it works for our family. :)

Being a working mom isn't that great either. Housework is always behind.dinner feels rushed on work days. I'm tired all the time and on days when my kids are sick I can go 2-3 days off almost no sleep.
I would rather be a sham but we have needs and goals and it takes us both working to get there.

Yea me too.
No adult interaction kill my soul
Constantly saying "stop", "no no", "put that back" etc drives me crazy
