Ds is fifteen months and has been off a few days. Low grade fever sleeping a lot but up all night. Figured it was teething since he is a hard teether. The fever broke easy enough with tylonal. Well last night he developed a rash after his bath. I kept him up to watch him and it went away with no medication. Another sleepless night and this morning he seemed to be improving. High energy no fever. We went about our day and after we brushed our teeth I was wiping him down. Poof there is the rash. All over his abdomen. It developed while I was holding him. Shortly after he laid down for his nap and I called the nurse. Well no answers there she said it was probably just the fever. It just doesnt sit right with me. Pedi office is packed and they cant get us in so the only option is er. And thats not a good idea.

What kind of rash? Is it like little red pinpoints? Big red blotches? Is it raised at all or flush with the skin? Could you take a picture and post it?

It looks like mild eczema or a little bit of a heat rash.

This. My dd had it. Nothing they can really do for it. It should go away pretty quickly.

I agree with reply #1... Any vaccines within the last month? Have you switched soaps or detergent? What about wipes? Has anything changed in diet?
