So.... If you go to the park and stare at your phone for an hour you are not watching your kid...

What if you read a book? No books too???? Like a paper tyuped/printed book?

I'm not the cat lady type. I'm more like an actual cat. I want affection when I want it and on my own terms. The rest of the time I want to claw out your eyes and piss in your shoes.

No books. No phone. No TV. Nothing - don't you know every waking moment of life should be dedicated to watching and playing with your kids? Even when you aren't at the park. All the time. Geesh!

I try to keep an eye on my 3 yr old because if I don't she'll wander off.

The reason I take my child to the park in the first place is so that he can run his soul out without me worrying about him damaging anything I actually own. That's something he's perfectly fine and content doing without me. I'll glance over every now and then to make sure he's safe, and be done with it. If I wanted to breathe down his neck, I'd do that just fine at home and save us both the trip.
