Zucchini, eggplant, pumpkin, cucumber, squash, bell pepper, corn - All fruits! And broccoli , cauliflower and artichoke? Also not vegetables. They are flowers.

I have a killer zucchini recipe that is easy and tastes great that I am going to make tonight.  Thanks for the idea.  :)

Vegetable is a culinary term not a botanical term. Anything can be a vegetable.

LOL Potatoes and carrots roots. Broccoli, cauliflower, flowers. Bell peppers, tomatoes fruits. Mushrooms, fungus. All vegetables.

Here's a good one for you. Gernerally, if it's a fruit, and it's green, it's not ripe. Bell peppers, jalapenos are meant to be eaten when they are red a ripe. Farmers make more money from fruit that isn't ripe because the plant will yield more fruit if you pick it early, also they don't have to wait for the ripening process. Ever seen a red jalapeno?

I'm fascinated by the idea.
