Sure... My husband doesn't make a lot but yes we are happy with what he makes... He loves what he does and wouldn't change it for the world... My husband is the biggest dork you will ever meet... He loves his country and would die for it... More power to him... Would I die for these crazy bitches on here?? Hell no!

Nope.  I would rather have him at home more than he is.

yes ,but what would him making a lot do with happiness ?I guess it may be easier to be happy without the stress of having all that we need without worry .Stress can make you less happy that is true. So yes being able to buy what is needed without any stress and a lot of our wants does make me have less stress. It must be terribly stressful to worry about food ,the car breaking down ,clothing being out grown.

Depends on the person. That's why the question is more general. What's a lot to one might not be enough for someone else.

I'm a house-partner (former SAHM, now house- partner) who makes a lot of her own money. I'm very happy, can't emphasize the very enough.
