hmmm, I've never had Paragard but I do have Mirena and have had Mirena in the past too. I don't know exactly how different they really are. Personally, I do not get periods at all on my IUD. Just one, right away. I have had pregnancy like symptoms caused from the hormones, etc. I know it's incredibly rare to get pregnant with an IUD, more rare than birth control pills. Best of luck to you.

Could it be from stress? It isn't supposed to cause you to skip periods since it doesn't have hormones. Did your Dr discuss with you the issues you could have if you are pregnant on it? I would test to be sure.

I'm 38 weeks with a baby conceived with Paragard. It's incredibly rare, but I guess someone's gotta be the 0.7 percent!

Only way to know is to test.

If you are preggo you need to have it removed asap.

Good luck!

Paragard has no hormones just copper and you are supposed to have a period
