in the case of a divorce...wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run just to pay out and split assets?  I mean seriously why chance getting caught?  How do you even advertise for that?  I have been thinking about this a lot.  My ex tried to take out a hit on my...he contacted an undercover cop.  He is now in jail.  He was stupid enought to converse over e-mail and text.  I wasn't asking for much at all.  Just half of ONE loan.  That is all.  Way less than he was willing to pay.

Drugs are bad  mmmkay.

I think that for the most part only happens on lifetime movies

loook at the rate of divorce, compared to the rate of murder for hire cases....

It happens in real life  It happened to me.  He made threats.  He looked for someone.  He got caught.

Well, did he have an insurance policy on you?  In the long run, had it worked out, he may have made money off of your death.

Sometimes someone hates someone so much when they are going through a divorce not having to split assets is just a bonus. They just don't want to have to ever see them again, or split custody in cases of parents.
