Do your parents buy school clothes for your kids?

I see this a lot and I was curious of this is the normal thing?

My parents don't and MIL can't.
My aunt honestly takes on the grandparent role to my kids and she is buying DD some back to school outfits.
And I did a bit online and we went out Wednesday to buy a few outfits. DH wants to take her too for more.

So what's the normal thing?
How many outfits do you buy if any?

No, they never have.

My kids wear uniforms and I buy them 5 sets of pants/shorts/polos and my DD gets 2 jumpers and a sweater and sweatshirt each.

My parents and MIL buy my six year old son clothes sometimes at random or they pick up a couple baby outfits, if they see clothes they like, but they don't specifically buy him school clothes. We don't really go back to school shopping, he has plenty of clothing and his birthday is in June, he gets a lot of clothes then, so we are pretty well stocked for the year. We just buy clothes here and there when we see something we like.

No. Both my parents and dh's parents are deceased. Even when my mom was alive(she was the only living grandparent when the girls were in school) she never bought their clothes.

When my son was the only grandchild, they bought and paid for a lot of stuff for him, but there's a lot more of them now and so they've stopped, not that I blame them, lol.  My husbands parents are deceased and have been since my oldest was young.
