Pumping breast milk

So I pump, bf and give formula. I don't pump quite enough for him to go with out formula so he gets that at daycare.
Anyway when he gets the pumped milk he gets the green poops. I read up and it's probably that he's getting to much fore milk not enough hind.
Does this mean I need to pump longer?
I get about 6oz each session and pump until I'm not getting anything out which is about 10min.

Any advice would be awesome!

Yes, pump longer.  Generally, the rich milk comes out between 10-15 minutes.  Just try to relax and see if you let down a second time. I always do.

I was told to pump until it stops and then go five more mins. You will get a second let down.

I did not know that!!! Thank you!

I'm trying to get him to his crib, co sleeping is killing my back but night time is the only time he nurses now(for a little over a month). I don't want to stop but the green poo was concerning me lol!
I I can go to strictly pumping and occasional nursing on my days off, I would be ecstatic.

Agree with others here. Keep pumping even after you stop the first time. :)

Also keep nursing to keep up supply. Just pumping tends to lower it.
