I guess - I mean they do have a ton of household products there and as an attendee I would much rather shop there than buy a 40 salt shaker at Crate and Barrel!

How can this be a serious question? Just a way to be rude because apparently people have to register at high end places?

Everyone I know has had a wedding registry at Wal-Mart.  It's usually a second registry for people who live out-of-town because Wal-Marts are everywhere.

there are some places where people don't have access to malls and stuff, and the walmart, is pretty much you're only choice besides online shopping
