I moved all of the toys and kid items up to the twins bedroom. Now that they are not home all day I think I can make my livingroom look a little less kid like and a bit more grown up lol

I never have toys in the living room. Playroom, kids room, and basement only.

Good for you. I always hated having toys all over the living room.

Luckily we have a dog now, so I make DS keep his stuff in his room so she doesn't eat it. Win!

Please please tell me the tv and the dresser are anchored....that picture scares the crap out of me! My friends daughter died when a tv fell on her. It was that size. If at all possible find a tv stand and anchor the tv if it isn't already.

Kids never really play with toys in the living room. My dog has toys all over now. -_-

we have a tiny house and I really do not like my kids stuck in their bedrooms on rainy days orinclement weather, but now that they are in school full time I am ok with it. Here is what it looked like before.

I am going against the grain but I never wanted toys in the bedroom,if we did not have a playroom,I had a space in the living room for toys. I always hated the idea that if my son wanted to play he needed to be in his room.
