Teen Mom 3 premieres TONIGHT, August 26th at 10pm est on MTV.

Meet us here to watch and discuss together!

The four girls who will be appearing on the show this year
originally appeared on "16 & Pregnant" but made the move to the "Teen Mom" series, which will follow their lives over the next few years.

First, there is Mackenzie Douthit. She is an 18-year-old from Oklahoma who has a one-year-old named Gannon. Mackenzie is currently attending beauty school and hopes to work in a salon some day to support her son.

Next up is Katie Yeager. Katie, who admittedly falls in love easily, broke up with her baby’s daddy because he was talking to another girl. She hopes to one day achieve a PhD in Psychology. The Utah native admits that her ex-fiance cheated on her while they were engaged.

Briana DeJesus is mom number 3 and her little girl, Nova, is super cute. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, the 19-year-old mama dreams of one day going to college. Her baby daddy was arrested for drugs and stealing and struggles to be a part of Nova’s life.

Mom number 4 is Alex Sekella, a 19-year-old Pennsylvanian who calls Allentown home. Her daughter, Arabella, just turned one and is quite a handful. Alex dreams of being a professional dancer, but that seems unlikely, considering she has to work three minimum-wage jobs to support her little girl.

Take a peek at the Teen Mom 3 trailer:

The shows have often been criticized for promoting teen pregnancy, but the show's creators have adamantly stated that they intend to show the reality of teen motherhood, which may include loneliness, failed relationships, and financial difficulty.

Let's watch together on tonight & discuss!

(Note: If you're on the West Coast or DVR'ing, you can catch up here later!)

I have yet to see any of these girls struggle. Three that I remember had parents who paid their rent & offered their time to watch the little ones. If MTV really wants to show teen pregnancy, show me a young girl who has zero support, living on assistance, struggling to make ends meet, because that's the reality I've seen first hand.

I refuse to watch it. My SD's and their bm loved 16 and pregnant. So far each of them have gotten pregnant @ 16. Girls are proud to be having sex and getting pregnant at that age. It's awful, so many babies are having babies themselves when they aren't mature enough to be a parent.

Ugh, that baby being scared and crying from being in the middle of that tug and pull just made me tear up :( can't stand stupid parents like that.

I plan on grabbing my tissue box, large coke and box of goodies to my chair for this :D

I'm a teen mom and honestly I hate the way some of these parents act in front of their children and in general. There's no need for any of that

They have to film a new season of Teen Mom. How else would we select a new crop of wanna-be porn stars? ;)
