Surprising baby products that are illegal where I live.

1. Baby walkers

2. Infant self feeding systems and bottle proppers.

3. Drop down style cribs.

4. Baby gates, car seat, strollers, cribs, cradles, bassinets and playpens that do not have manufacturers labels, serial number, expiration date (if applicable) and warnings in French and English.

Anyone have any of these items in their home?

I'll have to admit I had one of these items!

*edit for those asking, I am Canadian.

I had a drop side crib for awhile. We never used it though.

I don't see the big deal with walkers.

I've got a walker and I haven't the foggiest idea if my baby gates, crib, pack n play, or strollers have any type of warnings or labels on them. And I've definitely never checked to see if anything's in French.

But I live in Texas...we're pretty relaxed about most things :)

That's all my son ever had, oops!  It wasn't banned until the year after he had moved into a bed, and I never had an issue with mine.

my parents bought both of my boys drop side cribs, nothing bad happened and we even had a walker.

They are dangerous and can cause issues with development and tendons.

We have a drop side crib and will probably get a walker. Can I ask where you live that they're illegal?
