Scriptures For Doubt

"And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be taken up and cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.

Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you."

Mark 11:22-24

"And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you."

Luke 12:29-31

"Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform."

Romans 4:20-21

"Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass."

1 Thessalonians 5:24

"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."

2 Peter 3:9

"As for God, His way is blameless; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him."

Psalm 18:30

"Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear."

Isaiah 59:1

"Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation."

1 Peter 4:12-13

"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ."

Romans 10:17

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

No offense, but the bible is not really going to help them change their minds on this.

kindness. Living thru example of what your bible preaches. All to often I see people spouting off about the bible while not living the words they themselves preach.

Don't put someone down for their own beliefs or discount them as nothing. Work with what they believe and show them how it fits into what you honestly feel the word of God means.

Honestly I don't know. People who are looking for God look in two ways... their heart and their head. Some of the people who are starting to doubt the existence of God started doubting harder when they read the bible because of all the contradictions in it.

Your bible verses only help the believers, not the non-believers or the starting to disbelievers.

That's good advice as well. Back when I was a Christian, I was in a chat group for all religions. We had a guy Pmming everyone telling them they were going to go to hell for their non-belief. He didn't care what religion they were.
