Lets say your husband or someone close to you says something that hurt you. When someone hurts me, it actually hurts in my chest, it feels like a shock of pain then i just want to cry. My mom says this is not normal. I thought this was normal? Just like excitment, sadness, etc?
Do you feel pain physically when someone hurts you with words?
Is it normal?

In extreme cases yes it feels that way to me. There are times I can be mildly sad or depressed and it doesn't hurt the same way but when something really hurts me I feel actual pain.
