Walmart workers and tattoos

Yesterday I went into Walmart for the 1st time in years. My friend told me they have a new manager and how nice it is. Well It was clean and all.

Here comes my issue. I asked a guy for help getting a microwave down. He was nice and all. He even asked me if I needed help  getting it out to my car. I couldn't get over the fact that both his arms were covered in tattoos. My son even said oh I love the drawings on your arms. He laughed and said Thanks little man.

Well I happened to notice a lot of the workers had some tattoos. I happened to see a guy that looked like a manager so I asked him what the policy is. He basically said they can have them and they can be uncovered as long as they are clean and are not inappropriate.  Well I told him that I think all tattoos are inappropriate and that I won't be shopping there until a policy change. He told me that I had every right to do that just like they have every right to allow tattoos.

What do you think of the tatoo policy or the lack of?

Honestly, I think employees having tattoos is the oddest reason I've heard for someone not shopping at Walmart.

I'm not a tattoo person, but it wouldn't bother me.

I think you should open your mind. What the hell does some ink on his arm have to do with his ability to do his job?

Unless he has "cunt" or "bitch" tattooed across his/her face I don't care.
If he's doing his job and is courteous to customers and coworkers, then what is the problem?

If it bothers you then by all means please do not shop there, no one needs your judgemental attitude especially when they were very nice and helpful to you.

I have no problem with it. Everyone needs to work and we are so dead set on disqualifying people that it's a wonder how anyone had a job.
