Moms of teens: Do you just believe them or check up on them?

Posted by   + Show Post
My 15 year old daughter has been less than honest at times and I find myself wanting to check up on her to make sure she isn't trying to put one over on me. Several of her friends have out and out lied to me. What does everyone think?

I think it's time to do a drop in on her without her knowing, remember trust is earned not given

Mine know better than to lie to me because they know I will check on them in a heartbeat. God help them IF I catch them in a Lie after they have told me something else, lol

If she gives  you reason to check on her....then do it BUT let her know you are going to

I have a couple of times but lately she will "forget" to give me the address. So I am being more pushy about it and about checking up on her.
