Nope im too far south in NJ

we had one last year or the year before in Philly while I was at work I didn't feel a thing, everyone around me did.

My son experienced his first one in cali a few weeks back.

he said it was very very strange, like if you were in a doll out and someone just came an shook it around a bit.

So true, especially being in California. Anything under a 5.5 is not really news.

And the incident map is actually showing 2 in NY, a 2.7 and a 2.3.  Not massive but definitly noticable if you are somewhere that doesn't get quakes often.

I'm in FL and when we had one in the gulf a few years ago, we all felt it.

Nope.. but I was in the Mineral, Virginia one that was a 5.8 two years ago on the 23rd. I'm less than ten miles from the epicenter. They still haven't rebuilt the high school here.

Even though you had a small earthquake, it's always a little unsettling when you feel the earth shake underneath you.
