They should give you sea salt. Use it. No alcohol or peroxide.

i dont really know what to say

personally for cleaning i use contact lens solution, also try and L ring, instead of a bone stud after it heals.

I don't have my nose pierced but I know from my others to definitely not use alcohol as it dries it out.  Also don't take it out before they tell you!  I made that mistake with my belly-button and it was a nightmare :(

i'll be getting my nose pierced sometimes after i give birth....my friend recommended either salt water or contact solution on a q-tip and to just clean the area around the hole...inside and outside

oh and make sure to twist the piercing(gently) if you get a stud that way the crusty dried up stuff falls off

It was the most painful piercing I've had and I've had many. My biggest tip, keep spares. Regardless if you use the corkscrew or ball back (I preferred the ball back, the fell out more when I was sleeping but the corkscrew can look like a booger if its flipped the wrong way) they will fall out and cartilage heals rather quick

Sea salt for the outside ONLY. Do NOT clean with any soaps.
