I got my period for the first time in over a year since having my birth control out and holy shit I don't remember cramps being this bad. I have a 8 hour work meeting to attend and from there I have a 10 hour drive to north Carolina for my sisters wedding. Today certainly isn't the day. I took some Tylenol but is there anything else to help ?

Alieve is soooo much better! My doc also said taking it three times a day will help to lighten your bleeding too.

I take 800 mg of naproxen for mine.  It helps.  I get horrible cramps each month.

Happened to me as well when I stopped BC. I never had cramps prior, and sweet Jesus, they used to literally paralyze me. Pamprin helps me. You can also take Motrin/Tylenol alternating, and have some caffeine for similar help.

Ohhh yeah, I'm not looking forward to this :( Good luck love, midol extra strength, hot steamy shower and laying down with a heating pad where the cramps were always helped me at the worst times.

Ya I'm already on my way to my meeting but I'm thinking of stopping and getting one of those icy hot things and see if it helps . :(
