Knowing where to find a particualr verse and understanding what the verse means are two totally different things.

Quoting Aslen:

It's in Leviticus.

Who doesn't have an understanding of the Bible now?

Quoting KymberleeAnn:

Okay, but I don't know what bible you have been reading but I don't think you have a clear understanding on the matter and I'm not up for a debate so I will just say to your reply okay.

Or let me say if you are a "True Christian" than no.

Then they hsouldn't be eating shellfish, pork, living in the house with their husbands while menstruating, or wear synthetic fibers.

Yes because I can tell the difference between the bible and the constitution.

Quoting handy0318:

You're quoting Jewish laws, not Christian... Christians never have been under the Jewish law.

As to the OP... Yes.

So many "Christians" use Levitcus as to why being gay is a sin. So, if a book from the OT can be used to say homosexuality is a sin, I can use that same book to point out all the things they do that are the Bible, no?

I was taught only god can judge so yes I believe you can. It's not my place to judge or presume to know what god thinks of gay individuals so i do support gay rights. I can only support making here a peaceful accepting place. I think god has bigger concerns than worrying about two people loving each other quite frankly....it's not like the world is short on true atrocities. But I'm catholic and thanks to cm I found out we are not Christians apparently lol

What if said church (like mine) has no problem performing SSM?

Quoting Anonymous:

Yes.

I only believe they shouldn't be married in a church (keep in mind, there are several other ways to get married...don't jump down my throat).

I don't know where all the hate comes from. Christians are supposed to love and be understanding.......no one, is sin free. No one, and if they claim to be, they're lying (and that's a sin, so there you go).
