It varies widely. My kids go to a private catholic school that costs about 5,000 a year per student up to 2 kids and after that you get tuition reduction.

My cousin went to a catholic school that cost 15,000 a year.

There are many different types of private schools all with different tuitions.  I live in the Northeast and our children attend a Friends School.  Cost per student per year is $21,500.

I've seen prices range from 5k-30k for kindergarten.

I think it depends on the area.  My kids attend a private christian school and it costs us about $7000 a year for the two of them.  They are in 1st and 4th grade.  Our school also has a reduction in price for each additional kid after 1 child is enrolled.

We pay around $7000 per child at our secular private school. The Lutheran school down the road is about that price, the Catholic school is about $8500, and the Montessori is just over $10,000 per kid.

It totally varies.

In our area it is about $5,000 a year per child, plus drop off charges, uniforms, registration and books. It's approximately $7,000-10,000 (for everything) per year, per child.

My children attend a private Catholic school.  It's $7,100/year for practicing Catholics in the parish.

The rate goes up if you are not from the parish, and it goes up again if you are a non-Catholic.

For Catholic School in our area I pay $3050 for tuition, $50 for registration, $400 for obligation, $210 for books and communal supplies, $55 for individual supplies and $25 for cleaning supplies for each child per year.  It varies greatly by Diocese though.

Vary widely around here as well.  There is one around here that is $3,500 to $5,500 per year.  Then we have one that costs over $60,000.
