Teens should not be mothers ... Ever

Teenagers brains are not done growing. The frontal lobes which keep adults from acting on impulse are not done growing. They can't accurately correlate actions with consequences in high stress situations. It's like keeping a stick of dynamite near your fireplace. A spark may light it and cause everything to explode or you could go years with the it sitting there without incident. Who takes those kind of chances? It's stupid to have young teens raise babies

Adults should raise children into adults.

Why would someone be proud to be a teen mom?

It's so easy to piss y'all off

I had my son at 19 and I think I turned out to be a pretty damn amazing mom. I know older adults who are shitty parents.

I think your brain is not done growing. Tell my happy healthy six year old who is advanced in school, is constantly getting compliments for how well behaved he is, and is completely happy and provided for what a screw up he will grow into because he was raised by a teen mom.

I do think it would be better for everyone if we have kids as adults, but I know many young mothers who do an excellent job.

Had my son at 18 and he is perfectly fine almost 3 yo. Not all teens are immature some actually have common sense. My son has always come first in everything I did.
