I'm sorry that I have more to do with your son then you. I've been in his life for the last 5 years. He knows me as mom not you. I don't care if you don't like it. I'm not some random woman I am his mommy.

My husbands ex got pregnant had his son and took off. She has been out of her sons life completely. Now she wants back in when she feels like it. She told him she didn't want some other random woman to be mommy because she gave birth to him. I've been there everyday. I'm his mommy. I take care of him make sure he has what he needs. I'm not some random woman.

The child knows nothing about anything. He's OK.

yea. Kids are never aware of turmoil with the adults.

You're absolutely right.

Then you are completely right. Let her rant and rave. She's delusional. But delusion won't change anything. Don't feed her need for attention and drama and hopefully she'll go away. You can't really expect her to suddenly be consistent, given her past history. Hopefully, you can wait it out.
