Why do people on food stamps go out at midnight on the first?
There were SO many people there with carts jam packed(and no, I did not look to see what was in them nor did I take pictures), people in pajamas, and little tiny kids!! I was honestly shocked at the scene that played out before us.
It made me sad for those kids. If you are that starving at 12 am you were probably starving at 7pm earlier that night and that's SAD. There is no excuse for getting free food and needing it so bad you drag your kids out at 12am.
Why couldn't you just go to bed and shop in the morning?
I just don't understand. Can someone explain a valid reason why these people feel the need to go out at midnight for food or is there no valid reason and they go because its there?
