Why bring your kids?

Dh,mil, fil and I went to the casino today and had a great time. While there, I noticed that there  were  a lot of childre there. It is a Hotel and Casino, but I really see no need for children to even be staying in that place. I observed children standing alone at elevators (looked like they were waiting for a parent or adult) they were in the smoked filled place and also around all the drunk people. Me as a mother would never take my children there. To me, It's just not a place for a child. Dunno, kind a made me sad to see these kids there. It was hard on my lunges and could only imagine how they were feeling. The parents get a big fat "F" in parenting from me!

1 mom liked this

Children are allowed into the Hotel and Restaurants BUT not into the casino area. So the parents LEFT their kids alone in the  hotel lobby and were gambling???SMDHHHHHHHH

Because its also a hotel and they could be staying there. It doesn't make their parents bad parents that they stay at hotels that contain casinos. I stayed at hotels that had casinos as a kid and I have amazing parents, it did me no harm.

Just because they are allowed there does not make it a good parenting descision. I did see some parents holding hands with their children and were only in the restaurants and hotel lobby, but I did also see kids running to and from where ever they were going all by themselves. Hello, that is how children get snatched.

Every time I go to Vegas I'm amazed that parents do this as well. I'm not talking about staying at a hotel that has a casino with your children. I mean letting your child run loose through the hotel while you're at the casino. Just screams "irresponsible" to me.

I take my dd to the hotel and to the buffet which is thru the casino but children do not belong on a casino floor. If she is, its thru to the buffet and back

I go to our casino a lot and always see unattended kids running around the casino entrance. I've thought quite a few times why does security allow this? I could never do that to my kids. I have taken them there for dinner and shows though.

We always stay at the casino hotel.... It is right on the beach. We don't smoke and the hotel is non- smoking. We play on the beach use the indoor pool and they have a huge play area that is in a detached building that is kinda like a chuck e cheese. We never gamble but the hotel is very nice and very clean and the cheapest around.
