I need some advice...

I am a 19 year old mother, my daughter is two. I have been with her father for close to five years. However, I need some advice. My relationship with her father is awful. He has cheated on me multiple times. He doesn't take care of my daughter. & he tries to control me. He used to live with us, but he stole something off my mother & was kicked out. He also smokes marijuana often. This past weekend our home was broken in to & we believe he did it due to what was stolen & my mothers divorce papers being ripped in half. All my friends and family want me to leave him. And I believe I should. I'm just scared. I'm afraid I'm overreacting. And I'm scared to be alone. Can someone give me some advice or has anyone been in a similar position as me?

Leave now. It will only get worse. If u live with your mom u are not alone. Go to college, stop having babies and get a good job. A better life is just down the road. Good luck

stay away from him.  How could you be overreacting? he has cheated, he is controlling, he smokes marijuana, he doesnt take care of his child--what part of any of this are positive qualities that you love??
