America's Most Dangerous Neighborhoods...

Do you live in or near any of these places? My city is #16, but I don't live near the neighborhood mentioned. I never have felt "unsafe" anywhere in my city. But apparently, I have a 1 in 10 chance of becoming a victim of a violent crime in this neighborhood. Makes you think.

No, I don't live anywhere near any of those cities, thankfully. Crime rates are really important to me, so I would never live anywhere with crime stats that are as high as those. Especially not with a child.

Hmmm and New Orleans isn't up there anywhere. I wonder what you know who would say to that.

I was shocked New Orleans wasn't on there. They have the highest murder rate in the country. I was also shocked St. Louis and Detroit weren't on there as those are 2 of the cities in the top 5 most dangerous in the country list.
