Do you consider a mass of cells befoe 8weeks, which is technically an embryo, a 'child'?

I consider it an embryo. Which is what it is.
If it were a child, then it would be called such and not be called an Embryo.

Yes, considering Merriam-Webster defines "child" as "an unborn or recently born person." So I'm going with that...
